Connector/Net is a fully-managed ADO.NET driver for MySQL. This can be used by .NET developers to create database applications, which utilize MySQL. Starting with version 6.7, Connector/Net dose not include Visual Studio addon. That functionality is now available in a separate product called MySQL for Visual Studio.
